Our hospital has a well equipped and state-of-the-art Operating rooms with Laminar air flow, Hepa filters, and joint free walls. There are three operating rooms in this OR complex which caters to all major and minor clean surgical procedures. One separate Operating room is allotted in a separate block for operating on Diabetic foot patients and contaminated wounds.
Modern anaesthesia workstations, multiparameter monitors, latest surgical equipment and advanced gadgets to help in major surgeries good autoclave and ETO units help in achieving good results with our surgical patients. The Laparoscopy unit in our operating room is one of the latest from a reputed company to perform keyhole surgeries in Surgical Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT and General Surgery. Orthopedic procedures including Arthroscopic surgeries for sports injury, ligament tear, degenerative joint pathology, Total Knee and Hip replacement surgeries, spine surgeries, fracture surgeries, ‘C’ arm guided percutaneous ortho surgeries and stem cell injection procedure for certain conditions are done on a regular basis here.
Major surgical oncology procedures are done by skilled onco surgeons. Vascular surgeries are also done in our centre. Common urological procedures, Gynaecological surgeries, ENT surgeries are done by committed surgeons. Experienced ophthalmic surgeons do cataract Surgeries by phacoemulsification method routinely. Our OR has the latest phacoemulsification machine and ophthalmic microscope from standard companies.
A separate operating room and a floor (ward) are dedicated to taking care of diabetic patients with foot infections, deformities, non-healing wounds, skin, soft tissue and bone infections. Our centre is well known for accepting patients with multiple co-morbidities in this part of Chennai on par with the corporate hospitals.
